Life Enrichment Director

The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, implementing and supervising the day-to-day social, educational, recreational, spiritual, and therapeutic individual and group activities, entertainment and transportation services for the residents living at the community. This position also concerns itself with the achievement of occupancy development goals through coordination with the management of the promotion of the community to the general public through innovation, successful planning, implementation, resident participation and direct supervision of all activities. Other: Willing to work shift assigned, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem-solving, conflict management, budgeting.

Memory Care Program Director

The Memory Care Director position champions Charter Senior Living’s person-centered FlourishSM Memory Care philosophy and lives the core values and mission of Charter Senior Living; “Enhancing the Human Spirit.” This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Memory Care Neighborhood and is responsible for training, development, and ongoing compliance of the program standards for the Flourish Memory Care Programs, community policies and procedures and applicable state regulations as they apply to memory care. This position also works collaboratively with the management team to ensure the planning and implementation of all therapeutic programming, entertainment, service planning and achievement of occupancy development goals. The Memory Care Director is the process owner to implement and oversee the points of distinction established in the areas of FlourishSMRestore, FlourishSM Enrich, FlourishSM Connect, FlourishSM Create, FlourishSM Engage, and FlourishSM Contribute. This role must possess compassion, and a genuine concern for the well-being and interest of seniors, along with experience in dementia care and life enrichment programming.

Memory Care Program Coordinator

The Memory Care Programs Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Memory Care ‘FlourishSM ’ program, which includes Memory Care training of staff that meets Charter Senior Living standards and exceeds state and/or federal regulations. This position also works collaboratively with the Life Engagement Director (LED) to ensure the planning and implementation of all therapeutic programming, entertainment, transportation, service planning and achievement of occupancy development.

Who pays for Assisted Living?

While your personal health insurance coverage continues and your pharmaceutical coverage continues, Medicare typically doesn’t pay for Assisted Living. Most residents pay for this kind of care from their personal resources or with help from coverage provided by long-term care insurance. Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefits can help cover the cost for eligible Veterans and surviving spouses who are over age 65.

This position also works collaboratively with the Life Engagement Director (LED) to ensure the planning and implementation of all therapeutic programming, entertainment, transportation, service planning and achievement of occupancy development goals through coordination with management of the promotion of the community to the general public; through innovation, successful planning, implementation, resident participation and direct supervision of all Memory Care programs and services, including our FlourishSM Family Care services.
